Liptov is rich for beauty of valleys, which offer many possibilities of walking and hiking. Visitors can admire the beauty and multiplicity of liptov nature here.
Bocianska valley is very important for the tourism. It is long about 16 km and it deals The Low Tatras on the North on the Kraloholska part and Dumbierska part. The valley starts under the Certovica ( 1238m ) and finish in the Liptovska valley near the Kralova Lehota.
The longest valley in Low Tatras mesure more than 35 km. Through the valley runs river Black Vah, which begins under Králova hoľa and next to Králova Lehota join river White Vah and makes river Vah. In valley is only one village – Liptovská Teplička.
t is possible to climb on the main top of The West Tatras to the "Gaborovo sedlo" or "Bystre sedlo". Passage Rackova valley witch continues on the yellow line is the most atractive for the tourists. A stony path going trough the scrub is quit steep but the nice views on the tops of Tatras are very romantic.
Jamnicka valley is long about 6,5 km and it is tight. It is wide just at the end of the valley under the „Ostry rohac“ and „Ziarske sedlo“. It is wagon where is a green line on the border of the Ziarske sedlo. The alley is crossed by a blue line trough the Jamnicka dolina
Janska valley ( 634 – 2043 m) was declarated in 1933 as a National reserve. It is sittuated in The National park of Low Tatras. River Štiavnica flows trough the valley. There are many of undergrounds carst´s arraies like a Stasinov cave, Cave of Stary castle, Cave of Zaskocie.
It is 7km long valley. It beginns on north-west from Podbanke and ends under the Plyšné seddle (1 791 m.u.s.)in main shoulder. In past was used like canal to Zakopane. Tourist exit rout on top of Bystrá through Pyšné seddle, in ends is wide flad drum.
Podbanske is a centre of the recreation and tourism on the border of The West Tatras and The High Tatras. It is a local place of the town High Tatras from the 1st. January 1999. Podbanske is a centre to the interesting natural´s and tourist´s localities with many accommodation´s facilities, various facilities for the trips and walks or ski in the winter.
It is long valley with many tracks after the glacier and it is interesting for many tourists. It is moutainous in the top ( Rackov´s tarn) going under the Koncista and Hruby vrch and Gaborovo Sedlo. It is green in the bottom of the valley where you can find many of footpaths. There are many of recreation facilities, campings or cottage Jakubina. It is interesting place for the entrance to the world of nature and tourism.
Is it one of the longest tatras valleys (16 km). Separates main shoulder of Western Tatras from Liptov kôp. In higher part create dividing line between Western and High Tatras. The tourist exit to Tichá Halley is Podbanské, where are many possibilities of accommodation.
Visitors to Smrečany and Žiar usually pass through the communities in pursuit of snow or undertaking walks to higher situated places on the southern slopes of the Západné Tatry mountains. Immediately beyond the community Žiar is a group of holiday cottages with two ski lifts and downhill skiing tracks for less demanding skiers.
