Here they ground flour and made shingles, while at the same time looked after their children. In 1960 a woman by the name of Mary Gejdošová, started living there. She lived there alone, cooking, baking and looking after the place for 17 years. She had only an alsation to keep her company We know nothing about the first inhabitants of the lower mill. It was bought in 1931 by František Brunčiak. Until then the mill had only two rooms, one for living in and the second, which was used as a mill hall. It is fitted with two water wheels which drive two milling machines, it also has an older type of saw. Later F. Brunčiak removed one of the milling machines and replaced with a new saw. The Brunčiak family had 7 children, although he only worked in the mill with his son Karol, until he died in1961, when after the mill fell into disrepair. The mills are situated in the Kvačianska valley, to where a signed path leads the way. Tour to mills takes about 1,5 hour.
