Liptovská Mara
Liptovska Mara – the water dam has the area 27 km2 and the depth 43m. i tis about 200m wide and 1 225m long. The water of the dum floated 13 villages ( Vrbie, Demcin, Sokolce, Liptovska Mara, Sestrc, Nizne and Vysne Dechtare, Lptovska Sielnica, Parizovce, Paludza, Raztoky and Cernice). The most valuable houses were transfer to the Pribylina.
Liptovska Mara can offer to the visitors a wide possibilities of water sports ( boats, surf, water ski, water bicycle..) swimming, gorlf or extreme sports.
There are possibilities of fishing as well, or a trip on the boat MARTIMEX OMEGA 2, the
sailing takes 1 hour and a capacite on the boat is 55 persons. ( minimum for the sailing is 30). There is school of windsurfing open in the summer for the lover of this sport.
