Liptovsky Hradok came into the being in 18th century and it was called accord to three castles.
The castle Hradok belongs to the North part of Liptov by the topographic locality and it is part of the history.
Liptovsky Hradok belongs under the region of Liptov witch is on the North part of Slovakia. It is border by the Velka Fatra on the Southeast, by the Low Tatras on the South, by the Chocske Vrchy on the Northwest and small part is borded by West a High Tatras.
Liptovsky Hradok came into being in 1762 when two estates (Likava and Liptovsky Hradok) bind in one. Liptovsky Hradok started to build small royal town which was oriented on the forestry and woodstry. Woodstry office was on the main road witch was surrounded by the lime- trees. Nowadays is this main road called Lime alley and it was declare as a “Protected nature creation”.
In spite of its largeness Liptovský Hrádok has lots of historic monuments. Some are remark by time, even though they can speak about our ancestry and about important events.
